From a java client , when i try to do a lookup of my bean deployed on an oc4j server(stand alone),the call just blocks,never returns.
I can see that the oc4j server is running fine.
Properties being set at the client are:
NAMING_FACTORY_INITIAL=com.evermind.server.RMIInitialContextFactory
SECURITY_PRINCIPAL=admin
SECURITY_CREDENTIALS=welcome
JNDINAME =myBean
In the ejb-jar.xml I have given :
<ejb-name>myBean</ejb-name>
Isn't this correct.Is there something wrong I am doing.
BTW my network has a firewall which debars multicast,should this affect the lookup??
regards
goki
