need help with J2EE sdk 1.3.1 deployment tool  RSS feed

When i run my code, i always get this message? what's wrong when i deploy?

Looks like your client doesn't have the home interface class in its classpath?

Well, as you're using the J2EE reference implementation, you need to generate a "client .jar" from the deploytool. Here's a page from the J2EE tutorial which lists the steps needed in deploytool. Once you've got the client .jar file, you just add it into the classpath when running the client application.

i Select the checkbox labeled to generate Client Jar.

Do you mean that the deploytool didn't produce a client .jar file at all or that it did, but the .jar file didn't help?
I think you should also try posting the question at the official forum for the J2EE SDK.
