Hi all,
As stated by the JavaRanch newsletter

"Introduction to the Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE)" October 2002.
Step 3 : Start a j2ee server
It says in the steps
j2ee -verbose .
As I type in this command in the proper directory It complains the following

"'j2ee' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file."
Let me know what the problem is
Any help would be appreciated
Nash

Dear nash,
If there is a batch file named j2ee,
then you must add that to your path ,just the
same way you add JDK\BIN directory to your PATH.

Which version of the J2EE SDK are you using? Those instructions are for the 1.3 edition. The newest edition, 1.4, is different.
