Hi,

I want to dedicate this thread only for the certification costs:

please guys post the recent certification costs here .

this would help others as a quick lookup without hunting in the web page.

here I am starting..


1. SCJP(Sun Certified java Programmer) = 50 USD



Please guys , help me to build up the list...

i want to add , Websphere,weblogic, all Sun certifications, RED HAT certifications, XML certifications , DB certification costs in a list format.

[ i dont think there is any web link exists for this]



objective is to help aspirants for a quick lookup.

please help me to build a list

Hey Alfred I guess its 150 USD and not 50 USD for the SCJP.

i like those tags .

in india paying money in terms of dollar is pretty expensive
....it would have been nice if they could have "low price edition" kind of thing

all sun cert costs 2100 dollar in total.

2100 x 48 Rs = 100800 Rs [ assuming 1 dollar = 48 Rs]

Sun alone is consuming 1 lakh Rs.

I am working in a consulting company and it is easier for them to sell our services if we are certified. That's why they give us time and money to get certified. Obviously not all our employees are certified but I tried to run that extra mile

i dont think your company is an indian company....because , i have not heard any indian company sponsoring certification.

i would love to work in such companies .

No I would like to tell you, there are almost every company which is now sponsoring certifications.

Of-course I am talking about big C's (Companies).e.g. Infy, TCS,WIPRO,SATYAM, ACCENTURE etc...

do you get any advantage because of those certifications(any salary hike etc) ?

How do you feel after having so much of certifications ?
