1 - Is it possible to map an Entity Bean to a view instant of a table?
2 - Is it possible to map an Entity bean to multiple tables?

The answer to both is yes, as long as your particular appserver supports it (some do, some don't). Take a look at the documentation.

It is important to note that neither of these are standardized by the EJB Specification though as Lasse mentions many Application Servers do support them.
