i am new to ejb can anyone suggest me a book on ejb but the book should be in relation to weblogic 8.1 ie the book should have example showing where to place jsp,servlet in weblogic

You should learn EJBs in general, who knows when you stop using Weblogic and start using another application server. IMO you should learn EJBs from books like this and this, and then you should start looking for documentation on Weblogic and how to deploy applications with it.

For learning EJB, I think the headfirst book is the way to go. For patterns, do's and don'ts, the "Bitter EJB" book is excellent. I've been packing it to meetings all week referring to it.
 
It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
