It's a Web ARchive file that stores your servlet code, JSP's and other web resources. To learn about its structure, read the servlet specification.

-index.htm, JSP, Images �
*WEB-INF�� [Directory]
-web.xml��
* classes�� [Directory]
�� - servlet classes��
* lib�� [Directory]
�� - jar files
