Hi all,
I am looking into using JBoss as my application server for an application made up of EJBs. As I have no experience with JBoss thought I would read up. Meeraji Knummpruath book (JBoss 3.2 Deployment and Administration) talks about creating your own MBeans but why would you want to do this? Can anyone provide a simple explanation.
Thanks
Chris.

JBoss uses MBeans as its "building blocks", so to speak. Basically everything in JBoss is provided by MBeans. There is no requirement for your code to be built in the same way.
