I am trying to install J2EE 1.3 with JDK 1.4.2 on Windows XP. When I try to compile it gives me a error that javax.ejb package does not exist. I followed installation instructions...can somebody help me out?
thanks

You still need to include the various J2EE jar files necessary to compile in your classpath when you attempt to do so. As far as I know, the only one to include is j2ee.jar in your lib directory of the j2ee installation.

What is the exact curse? The javax.ejb package is indeed IN the j2ee.jar file.

yeah javax.ejb is in jwee.jar file but for some reason, the compiler says package cannot be found.
is there a explicit class path that we need to use? i already did set all the variables...as mentioned on the Sun's website...
