Dear Friends,

What should be decent salary in UK per annum for total 4 year J2EE experience ? I know depends on location, but a consultant has not told me location in UK yet, they just need what salary I expect per annum. I have total 10 year IT exp. out of which 4 years in J2EE
Thanks alot in advance.

Hard to say anything without knowing the location, domain (e.g. finance), education etc. But just to give you a rough number (no so accurate though), I would say something around 40-50k.

40-50k is on higher side.
30-40k is more realistic.

Initially I thought about writing the same numbers (30-40k) but IMHO for the amount of experience you have (10 years IT, including 4 years J2EE) <35k is not a good salary.
