Using my ejbCreate method can i create more than 1 row in the database at a single go?
I have an arraylist of values which i need to insert using BMP, so shud i call the BMP n times to insert those n values or can i pass that arraylist in ejbCreate method and create n rows at 1 go??

You can do whatever you want since it is BMP... you are afterall just making straight JDBC calls to your database. Typically, but not always, Entity Beans are modeled to represent a single row in the database, in which case you would want to only insert one row and make the call n times. However, since I don't fully understand your problem and have no idea what your requirements are, it is hard for me to say what is the best choice in this case.

Thanks for the response Chris.
Here are my requirements:
I have 4 fields on the screen, whenever the user makes changes on the screen that is those 4 fields then those 4 new values along with the old vaues in an audit table.
For this purpose the BMP has to be used.
Now suggest that shud the BMP be called 4 times or 1 time?
