I am getting the above error when I am compiling EJB files ( *.java).
Can any one explain me ?
I am using Blazix EJB server

Looks like a classpath problem. Did you check your classpath?

In particular, make sure the file j2ee.jar is on your classpath.

I have place the j2ee.jar in the lib drectory and gave the class pathe.
Also gave pathe to Blazix.jar a jar file by the Blazix server which is supposed to have the same jar file.
Still I am facing problem.
Give me any further suggestions

Do you have the full name of the jar file in your classpath? For example:
does not work! You can't include a directory. You have to enter:
Also check your separators (; on Windows, : on Unixes).
Secondly: Do you use an IDE? An Ant script? Or do you call javac from the command line?
