Thanks for the link. Had a quick look. Sad to see that whatever time I invested is already down the drain..

What do you mean? Even if EJB 3.0 turns out to be as radical as it is shaping up to... that doesn't mean your time invested is wasted. People won't be using EJB 3.0 for another 2-3 years and there is currently a very large install base of EJB 1.1 and 2.0 projects. In the future, knowledge of both EJB 1.1/2.0 and EJB 3.0 will be pretty much necessary. Besides, EJB 3.0 is actually going to be *easier* to learn than the previous specs... ease of use was after all one of the primary motivations of the new specification.
