Hi All,

My company is filing L1B visa for one of my team members.
During the process he came to know that the mark sheets of
every academic year needs to be produced to the company.

His problem is he had a K.T. in one of the subjects for his
second year in college. He is afraid that his visa may get rejected due to this.

I don't think college marks makes any differnce for getting visa.
I would like to your opinion/experiences.

Regards,

grishma

College marks would not impact the L1B visa.. I have my friends who have got the Visa despite these things...
Cheers!

What is K.T?

My friends who lost 1 year because they failed, got H1 and L1. So your friend need not to worry.

Thanks KJ. Actually my colleague was not able to appear for one paper
due to illness. So he appeared for that paper next year.

KT means your failed in one/two subjects but you still are allowed
to go to the next year and appear for the subjects later in which you are
failed. In this case you get the marksheet. But on your marksheet
you will get "Pass" remark instead of the total marks/percentage.

I do not think that will be problem. Many guys do that for many reasons. My friends who failed in final year and completed his degree after 6 months of final year completed got L1.
