Hi All,
EJB uses RMI - IIOP protocol to service the client request.
I would like to know where this IIOP protocol is used to service the request.
I need some clear explanation in this

You may also try to read the book Head First EJB. It contains a whole chapter about how EJB using RMI over IIOP for connectivity.

RMI arch of Sun is specific to Java and hampers the performance when tried to integrate with other technologies. So RMI-IIOP is introduced that is more generic and performs equally for any comm with CORBA components or Java comps or COM comps etc.
