HI!!!

I am working on a project, where there are many modules, and logging informations are associted with each one.
I am using Log4J , for this purpose.
At this time a file is being used for each module, to write the logging information of that module.
But according to the EJB-spec, We should not handle the File operations in our EJB's. So, how do you people cope with such problems?
Log4J allows us to use different Appenders, so any time I can change the appender from file to DB (but it would increase the cost..because logging would be done very frequently...hence DB access will have to be done frequently)..

Please suggest

Mishra,

Logging is not part of the SCBCD exam, so I'm moving this to the EJB forum where you might get more feedback Thank you for your comprehension.

Please suggest . I feel almost every project deals with the logging.
