Howdy!

My application got a lot of SessionBeans encapsulating other objects that contains business logic. The SessionBean wrap those business objects, so I can run the application remotely. When some data violates the business logic, the business object throws MyException, and when it happens, the SessionBean itself catches some kind of undeclared exception and dies (can't retrieve it anymore, the serialized archive isn't found after that).

Do you have any clue? If I perform the validations and throw exceptions in SessionBean, it works...

Thx,
Tiago

It's not entirely clear what you mean, but if a SessionBean (or any EJB for that matter) throws an unchecked Exception it will be killed by the container. Maybe that's what happens?

Hi Mattias.

That's exactly what was happening. I was getting a throwable, instead Exception.

Thx a lot!
