1. What is EJBC.
2. What is the difference between a normal jar & a deployable jar
3. Does any of the above two helps in creating stubs and skeleton?

What is EJBC.

Tool used to generate EJB stubs/skeletons and container EJB classes. I have seen this in BEA weblolgic server.

What is the difference between a normal jar & a deployable jar

Deployable jar can be deployed into app servers and have a deployment descriptor(DD) file included in them. Examples are war, ejb jar, ear files. They jar files will be interpreted in a special way by the container. For example, the container will look for web.xml (DD)in WEB-INF of a war file.

Yes,it is ejbc. The ejbc tool is specific to weblogic.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
