I am so thankful this site exists. Hats off.

I've seen other UltimateBB sites that have a <Preview Post> button next to the <Add New Topic> button. This helps when trying to format a post/reply a certain way and testing it before it actually goes "out to market" on the board. Any chance of getting that UltimateBB feature here?

Again, thanks for this site, and keep up the great work!

Hi,
This has already been asked a few times, please refer to the following thread :

You can use the "Search" link to look for something in past threads.
It's more useful than a "Preview" button would be

Ouch! And good point. I did a quick scan of the first page, and didn't see it. You're right -- I should resort to using the current features before asking for new ones, huh?

BTW, I disagree -- I think the <Preview Post> would be used more often than a <Search> button. IMHO.

"A Prescott (apj)",

There aren't many rules that you need to worry about here on the Ranch, but one that we take very seriously regards the use of proper names. Please take a look at the JavaRanch Naming Policy and adjust your display name to match it.

In particular, your display name must be a first and a last name separated by a space character, and must not be obviously fictitious. All you'll need to do is to remove the "(apj)" suffix to be in compliance.

Thanks!

Lacking a preview feature, you can click the icon on your post to edit it if you find that you have made errors.
