Greetings..!

Can we directly use a datasource that is deployed in JBoss from a simple java client program?
Or
Should it be used by only internal components like servlets or EJBs?

I want to use it from a simple client program. Please tell me how I can do that.

Thanks and regards,
Kala.

You should be able to use it from you client if you wrap it with a session bean etc.. and then just use jndi as usual. I'm not sure if you can use it directly because its not a serializable object. I'm just use session beans and possible entity beans or just JDBC if I were you.

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
