What is difference b/w Session bean And Entity Bean
posted 11 years ago
You will find a lot of links for the same. But let me try to brief you in short :-
Entity Beans :- Used to represent values/data which is stored in persistence layer.
Session Beans :- When you want to do all the work/actions on the data. But session beans are not stored in persistence layer.
for example :- CREDIT CARD (CCNo,Expiry Date,Name) data will be saved in persistence layer and will be represented through entity bean, but credit card verification/processing will be done through session bean.
I hope above is clear, incase of doubts, please shoot your queries !!!
