Hi all,

Java is the only technology that is into the embedded devices.
I have read a lot of job posts in the newspapers regarding requirement for j2me programmers.Companies like [COMPANY_NAME_REMOVED] and others are amongst the recruters.

Can anyone throw some light about the job market for the scmad domain ?

Also, what about the symbian-java stuff, will j2me give a person edge if he plans to learn symbian technology ? Its Symbian thats a lot more hot these days.

I am currently into an IT MNC, and i am thinking over lots of career options. Will my IT experience [j2ee-struts] count if i decide to plunge into the scmad domain ?

Any help in the above regard will be welcome.

Thanks in advance
