Hi,
In my LDAP server each entry contains attributes "createtimestamp" and "modifytimestamp". I want to search for entries which has equal createtimestamp and modifytimestamp. If I am giving filter like : (!(createtimestamp=modifytimestamp)) then here search method taking literal value of modifytimestamp but I want value of modifytimestamp attribute e.g. 200412121234Z.
Any thought on this ... how to do that?? Or is there any other way to get it?

Please let me know if my question is not clear.

Thanks

Hi Shailesh,

I am not sure if it is possible to do such search in one hit.

I'd go with the following:

1. Perform one search for all entries in your LDAP-compliant server.

2. For each record (let's call it GenericRecord) found do another search that finds all entries with the modifieddate attribute equal to the value of the GenericRecord's creationdate attribute.

Hope it helps,
