I'm working on a web site which is being internationalized. Localizing the text that appears is easy enough; I'm using the basic approach described by pretty much every tutorial out there (resource bundles, properties file for each language, tag library for presentation on the JSP, etc).

I'm wondering, though, for images that contain text, is there a "best practice" approach? My first thought is that I can include image names in my properties files, and that way the correct GIF would get referenced in the JSP, depending on the user's locale. But is there a better/more common way to do it?

Hi dave,
At present i am also developing a web-site which is being internationalized, and i did exactly the same way to dispaly the images, i.e. writing the name of the image in the propery file.

Hi Prakash,

Thanks for the response. I assume, then, that you've encountered no unexpected difficulties or anything then?
