Has anyone worked with or have knowledge of a contribution model (somewhat like the eclipse framework) that will allow the deployment of war files into an ear file. Ideally, I'd like to have plugin like war files that I can simply drop into an ear file without application.xml modification. In other words, it needs to happen runtime and needs to be somewhat seemless. The idea is to provide application upgrades to our customers. Obviously, we could send them separate .war files but for reasons I won't bore you with, I am looking for something like the Java Plugin Framework that can be applied effectively to Enterprise applications.

Any ideas?
