In the jobs ads, recruiting companies mention J2EE,EJB,Servlets,JDBC etc. What is the meaning of J2EE here(Provided they are listing the individual J2EE tech as mentioned). What are their expectations for 'J2EE' specifically.Anyone can clarify?

Hi vidya,

I bet that recruiters that dont know mach what all of these mean write most of these job ads. I can only speculate hat there are two school of thoughts: one that considers J2EE with EJBs and another that considers J2EE without EJBs. Which is actually not quite right, because J2EE is just a framework and doesnt mater whether one uses all the J2EE concepts or only some of them. From my experience I also know that some job ads requires all these concepts, but the actual employer might not need them. Better call them and talk to them. After having an interview with the real employer you are very entitle (and is even recommended) to ask him/her what exactly technologies they use.
Regards.
