Hello,

I am brand new getting my hands on J2EE. I have a problem compiling tutorial sample code that I downloaded. I am using WebLogic as the J2EE server and NetBean for IDE. Which JAR should I set in the classpath in order to compile the souce code so that it recognise the J2EE framework? Am I even on the right track of doing it this way? I don't want to use the Sun Application Server...

Thanks for shedding any light,
Anna

Hi Anna,

Your classpath needs to include the ewblogic.jar library. Check:
/$BEA_HOME/weblogic81/server/lib/weblogic.jar. If you're using weblogic 7.0 or higher you might take the advantage of the client subset: wlclient.jar (this is much ligther) located under the same folder.
Regards.
