Keep your EJB's in a folder X and create a META-INF folder within the folder X. 2 deployment descriptors ejb-jar.xml and weblogic-ejb-jar.xml has to be created and placed in the META-INF folder, these files have standard entries for the EJB's. ie , when you deploy, its from here, where the server reads and knows, what are the EJB's in the deployed application, what are its characteristics. You can imagine them as instruction files.

Then in the X folder start creating your package structure folder.. for eg. X\com\apps\self\testing

and then put your EJB's of this package in the testing folder, (All your Home,Remote and the Bean).

Jar the X folder and then deploy in Weblogic.

Hi Senthil,

I couldnt get you. Specially when you tell to create folders to place ur class file of Home, Remote and Bean.

Also can we populate these xml files through Weblogic console. If yes HOW?

Also can u tell any good online tutorial or article which we can refer to get a good outline of How to deploy EJB's on WEBLOGIC SERVER. (creating and populating xmls and mf's).

Thanks in Advance
