Hi All,

I got an offer to go and work for a Singapore s/w company on a one year contract(Extendable). They would pay me 3300 dollars per month. I have 2.5 years in Java/J2EE and at present working for a tier 1 Indian company.

I dont know about the Singapore job market. I want to know whether this is a good offer and the chances of finding another job there next year if at all the contract ends. Please advice.

Thanks in advance
Senthil

Hi,

Considering your experience and your pay, I think it's a good offer.
The chances of finding another job in Singapore is very big. J2EE is very demanded in Singapore.

I know few 7 yrs experience guy is getting SG $5000, so your salary is not bad. If you are bachelor then you can save good amount as you might be sharing accommodation. If are married and bringing family then it will be little difficult as your house rent will eat around SG $1000. Due to limited supply of houses and ever increasing inflow of expatriates in the tiny county created a great hike in rent lately.
Anyway I think you should accept this offer.
