doubt about session facade...

Hi All,

can anybody clear my doubt???

can we use entity bean as a session facade???

if not why??

The session facade doesn't represent a single entity as an Entity Bean does. It's a consolidated and simplified public API that makes life easier for clients than finding and calling the complex set of beans and POJOs that make up your system. Does the difference make sense?

Using a session facade is a good approach to interfacing the data layer and decoupling it from business logic. Its one of the standard design principles. Pls refer to the following link to know more -
