Hi I need some serious career advice.
I am having a total of 2+ years experience with this company.I am one of the first few initial employees (among first 10 - now close to 100) . Due to start up opportunity I have been very fortunate to lead a team in a very early stage in my career. So I in Position (not just role) of Team Lead of team of three including myself and have done so good for quite a while now.

I am having some serious personal problems due to which it is not possible for me to continue with this current position for long.
Industry standard wise I may not be acceptable as a team lead at 2+ years for sure.
For last two years I have done really good to take up these responsibilities and have been respected for the same.
I am facing some unavoidable circumstances due to which I am having to take this decision.
But now I am in a dilema as to how industry especially CMM companies perceive me? Can i compare/transfer it to some other acceptable comparable senior position.

The challenge for me is to take my career ahead from here on so that my advantage is not lost and also not to mention the efforts for last two years.
[P.S: Sticking around any long is not anymore a feasible option.]

Please provide serious advice Only.

Thanks in advance!
Rohit N.

Yes. Your fear is true. You will not get 'designation' of lead in BIG companies but you can get 'role' of lead if you can satisfy interviewer.

Please check your PM.

Can I get Senior position instead? Example Senior S/W Engineer?
What is the best I can do in this situation?

Thanks!
