Can anyone please suggest, books and tutorials for EJB beginner? not yet ready for certification, so not much intrested in certificatin related material. appreciate if you can suggest for JSP and Struts?

I think Mastering EJB is the best book to understand concepts of EJB, and it will give fair practical knowledge too.

Head First EJB can be a great start actually. Mastering EJB can be quite overwhelming for someone without a clue as to what EJB is.

Another good book for a beginner is from Manning:
SCBCD Study Kit
www.manning.com/sanghera
Although, like Head First EJB, it's meant for the exam, but it does a pretty good job in presenting the material in a cohesive way and in simple language (I've read the ebook version).
