I am running the client ejb example from the book head first ejb.

I got the following error, can anybody tell me what happened? how to fix it?

Instead of:

java -cp %classpath%;AdviceAppClient.jar;./ AdviceClient

Try the following:

java -cp %CLASSPATH%;.;AdviceAppClient.jar AdviceClient

I'm assuming that AdviceAppClient.jar is in the directory that you're executing from.
