I'm working on a system with 800+ CMP. Can you believe it?
Well. We are choosing a strategy to break these components, and to do it, we have identified 20 subsystems. The idea is to group the belonging components into a subsystem, and then create a EAR file for each subsystem.
But there is a problem when a CMP in a subsystem is related to another CMP in another subsystem because I want to deploy the EARs in different Application Servers.

My questions are:
1 - May I have two related CMP distributed in different Application Servers?
2 - If yes, how can I do that?

First of all I think to use a centralized JNDI repository, and make the lookups in this scernario in the public context (using Home instead LocalHome inserface). But, will it work?

I'm using Borland Enterprise Server and Jbuilder.

Thanks.

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
