Hi All,

I have an offer from a South Korean company, work location is Seoul. I have 4+ years of J2EE experience and they are offering me 2000 USD as monthly salary. Is this decent to live in South Korea? And how is life in South Korea?

I look forward to hear from you soon.

Thanks & Regards,
Surya.

Hi,

Yes. Its really a good salary. I heard that there is no tax. And also heard that some companies are paying nearly 15 lakhs per annum for 4+ experienced candidates. Life is very good if you can manage the food and language

bye for now

Hi Sai Surya,

Ive seen your answer to one of my posts where I asked advice about my situation of leaving a company without a releiving letter.

Its nice that you got an offer in S.Korea, can you please tell me how you landed in the job? I worked previously in the far east, beleive that am tech. good, so may be able to convince the firm that I am suitable.

It would be nice of you if you can give me the contact info etc of either you or the company that gave you the offer.

Even if you find any problem in giving me the info, I thank you for the good advice you gave me.

Thanks,
Moto.

Hi Raja,

I got this offer from job sites. In fact, I rejected the offer because this seems low salary based on the demand for Java skill set in Korea.

You post your cv in all job sites, and selecting preferred location to the location you are intersted. Thats all, you will get 100 calls a day

All the best,
- Surya.
