If you are looking for long/short term onsite openings to UK/US try in Yahoo and Google groups. Alternatively, you can post your cv in popular job sites and select your preferred location to UK/US.

What is your profile?

Hi Kavitha,

For UK..

- You may get workpermit to relocate to UK, howerver, for this you need to have a job where your employer can sponsor work permit for you.

- Get HSMP to work in UK without working under body shopper. For more information on HSMP try at www.workpermit.com.

For US..

- Get H1 visa through body shopper and start working in US. As soon as possible apply for green card to settle in US. Getting green card depends on luck and, it can take longer time also.

Any specific questions do let me know.

Hope this helps.

kavita,
Welcome to JavaRanch!

We're pleased to have you here with us in the Jobs discussion forum, but there
are a few rules that need to be followed, and one is that proper names are
required. Please take a look at the
JavaRanch Naming Policy and
adjust your display name to match it.

In particular, your display name must be a first and a last name separated by a space character, and must not be obviously fictitious.

You can change it here

Hi Kavitha,

For HSMP you need NOT to have job. Its like you are sponsoring for yourself. Once you get HSMP you can go to UK and search for jobs. Or you can even get from India. I think there is some criteria to get HSMP. Try assessment at www.workpermit.com. HSMP is a bit expensive also.

Yes ofcourse, but I will recommend you to go for HSMP. What is your academic/professional background? Based on that I can suggest you further.

Hi Kavitha,

I don't think for 2 years of experience you can find a job in UK/US with moderate salary to live and save comfortably. I would suggest you to wait for some more time may be a couple of years and get some certifications and try. In fact, I have 4+ years of experience in Java with SCJP 5.0 certification. I am getting offers from UK but salary is very low. Its my suggession only. Hope this helps.
