I don't know if this is the best place to post this, but it is the best one I could find.

With very short notice, I have been assigned to teach a course on JMS Technology at an academic institution. I had no previous knowledge of it. I want to quickly ramp up to get to a point where I can feel comfortable with this.

I have a book on it by Shawn Terry which seems to have much information, but is hard for me to get the "big picture" from it. The old instructor used JBoss for the JMS implementation, which I want to conitnue to use.

I have been on both Sun's web site and the JBoss web site, and I do not see any links that will help me to get up to speed.

Does anyone have any suggestions on links/short courses/anything else that can get me ramped up to teach JMS?

Hi, welcome to the ranch!

Here's a good advanced resource on using messaging in application design:

Let us know what you find about getting started in JMS. I need to build some MDBs Real Soon Now.
