StackOverflowException when accessing CMP field

I am getting a java.lang.StackOverflowException when I try to access two of my CMP's fields. There are 9 fields. All but two work fine. Neither one is a primary key. The two fields that do not work are auto generated fields when you insert a new record: one is an auto incrementing index and the other is the insert date set by the trigger.

I am not too sure what is causing this exception other than I know that if I call the getDataIndex or getInsertDatetime method, it happens. I take the calls out and it does not happen. All the other methods work fine.

The bean does have relationships set up with other beans. But not any that would be used to get these two values.

This is running on Sun Application Server 7.
