Hi, Everyone.
I am an IT fresher and working in one of the top MNC.
I am assigned a Banking Domain project.
I am working in Production Support Module.
I think Banking sector is good to work as an IT engineer.
But project is in COBOL, Unix, Oracle. (Not Mainframe. Because servers are of SUN system not IBM one).
So, I am working in COBOL which is totally absolete technolog as comapred to JAVA and MS technology. No development work...
I want to know how strong is Banking Domain knowledge.
What are the opportunities if I would have 1.5 or 2 years experience in this project.
Thanks.
