hi all,

Right now we have an intranet project which is based on Java,Turbine Avalon Frame work.(Uses Velocity Template languaage, Torque, Turbine).
We are migrating this project to Java Struts, where we would like to use only JDBC instead of Torque and would like to go for JSP instead of Velocity.

Could you please throw me some turorials or any other information on this?
What would be the best architecture to use ?

regards,
hari

Hi Hari,

Unfortunately I cannot answer to your question, but there is one thing that really strikes me when Im reading your posting. The question is why do you want to migrate your app to Struts? Why not using Spring and Hibernate for example, which right now are the new edge of technology? Struts is already an old and almost deprecated framework and it just doesnt make much sense to migrate an old app to an already old and deprecated api. Cant you ask your project manager to give it a better thought before doing it? I apologize if my comments offend you in any way.
Regards.
