Hi, why a parameter RMI-IIOP compliant must implement java.io.Serializable but not java.rmi.Remote ?
THANK YOU FOR ANSWER!!

Remote indicates an object whose methods can be invoked, which Serializable simply indicates that an object can be sent over the wire (which is sufficient for parameters - they are used in calls, but are not called remotely themselves).
