Just a quick query about how JCA should be used. I'm carrying out some research on JCA and I'm not sure how to split up the deployment. As I see it the the connector module receives a Record object which is essentially all the request type information needed for the transaction to be executed. My query is where does the jar file with the Records classes go? As far as I can tell both (we'll in my case anyway) the web module AND the connector module need access to the class definition of the concrete Record object, so should the jar file containing this information sit at the system level so the system classloader accesses it, or should two copies be used, one for the connector module and one for the web module? I'm using a WebSphere Application Server as my runtime environment and there seems to be an option to set the application classloader so only one classloader is used for the entire ear, is this another option I should look at?
