Hi all

Below r the my pathsettings

CATALINA_HOME d:\tomcat 5.0
JAVA_HOME f:\JAVA\J2SDK
J2EE_HOME F:\JAVA\j2sdkee1.3.1
CLASSPATH .;%CATALINA_HOME%\common\lib\servlet-2.2.jar;
F:\JAVA\fop-0.20.5\lib;F:\JAVA\fop-0.20.5\build\fop.jar;
F:\JAVA\fop-0.20.5\lib\avalon.jar;F:\JAVA\fop-0.20.5\lib\batik.jar;
%J2EE_HOME%\lib\j2ee.jar;%JAVA_HOME%\jre\lib\ext;%J2EE_HOME%\lib\j2eetools.jar;

I have included j2ee.jar file and j2eetools.jar file in the class.when im compiling the java files im getting compile time error.

Hi , Which app server u try to use.
I suggest you to use j2ee.jar supplied by any appserver. Such sun app server ri or jboss.

As per my knowlege .. Thej2ee.jar in j2sdkee doesnt have ejb implimenatation

U can compile java file in this manner if you have sun app server

C:\Sun\AppServer\jdk\bin\javac -cp .;C:\Sun\AppServer\lib\j2ee.jar;AdviceAppClient.jar RemoveDemo.java
