why j2ee has evolved over servlets or jsp?

A short answer would be that JSP, Servlets fell short when it came to developing distributed components.

The fact that one could concentrate purely on the business logic and not bother about the important issues like security, transactions, scalability, etc. meant a huge leap forward.

Servlets and JSP are a part of J2EE.

As a simple & rough categorization one might say that jsp/servlet are for web presentation and most of the other apis like ejb, jca, jms, jta are for integration into a existing IT infrastructure of the organization.
