Hi,
We've a J2EE applicationn running on WAS 5.0.2 on solaris.

We are facing a strange issue which is occuring interrimettently.
While trying to create a remote instance of an EJB we're getting an error as,

java.rmi.MarshalException: CORBA MARSHAL 0x4942f8bd No; nested exception is:
org.omg.CORBA.MARSHAL: Error sending cancel request minor code: 1229125821 completed: No
org.omg.CORBA.MARSHAL: Error sending cancel request minor code: 1229125821 completed: No
at com.ibm.rmi.iiop.IIOPOutputStream.cancelRequest(IIOPOutputStream.java:202)
at com.ibm.rmi.iiop.ClientRequestImpl.write_octet_array(ClientRequestImpl.java:557)

And if we see the trace.log generated by ORB, we find the following.

[12/13/05 2:50:57:673 GMT] 51ae6e ORBRas e com.ibm.rmi.iiop.Connection sendFragment:1660 Servlet.Engine.Transports : 3 The following exception was logged

at com.ibm.rmi.corba.ClientDelegate.request(ClientDelegate.java:1820)
at org.omg.CORBA.portable.ObjectImpl._request(ObjectImpl.java:428)

which says that a secured socket connection couldnot be opened. But the server which it is trying to invoke is up and running.

Also we're getting this error once in 3 to 5 requests. and the remaining requests are going through fine.

Any idea/pointers to resolve this issue would be of great help.

Let me know if you want any more info.

Thanks in Advance,
Sriram.
