If I have a front end jsp/servlet, and it calls some session bean stuff and create data and then pass back to another JSP page, the web user will have no idea that EJB is used, right ? Are the users able to see any "clue" that EJB is used by looking at the URL ? what if I just use a java Class to replace the stateless session bean, the front end user won't be able to tell, right ?

Your hunch is correct - In both cases the user will have no idea what technology is used on the back end.
