Now that Apache geronimo has been j2ee certified since the start of this year,I was wondering how does it compare to the other open source servers like JBOSS, jonas etc.?

Does it have the potential to be the most preferred server among the existing open source servers?

And since IBM has started using Geronimo under the hood within their recent websphere community edition release, does it imply enterprise j2ee servers are on the path to be freely available?
