Hi All,

I am planning to learn EJB. Which is the best to learn EJB 2 or EJB 3.

How is Hibernate different from EJB ?

Are EJB programmers in demand when compared to Hibernate ?

Thanks Ayub

Most of the Java technology is not new and so if someone learned the basics of computer technology and software engineering then it can be applied in some ways in Java, C++, C# etc. So it does not matter what you are going to learn as long as you want to learn it thorougly.
The concepts in EJB3 Persistence are quite similar to Hibernate but that only applies to persistence. EJB are way more than just persistence and not to speak of J2EE or JavaEE.

Finally I would suggest that you start learning something because you are interested into it rather than what the market demands because the demand can change over time, you could loose interest because it neither of these technologies are simple and finally I believe that you cannot become a execellent software developer if you are not in it with your heart. But again that I just my own opinion.
