Either the EIS vendors will have written a JCA connector or you will have to. If your vendors have written connectors ( which is by far the best option ) then you configure/deploy them in your application server and then access them as datasources in your application. Do you know how to connect to one JCA connector? If not, there should be tutorials on the internet - search for JCA tutorial or something similar. Connecting to multiple ones should follow the same procedure.

If your vendors don't provide a JCA connector you will have to write them. This is pretty difficult. I'd recommend reading up on JCA quite a lot, including the Sun book on it and the Atul Apte book on the subject, but most of all I'd recommend buying one from the EIS vendor.

Thanks Steve for your reply...

I have done some work on JCA now...I wrote a Resource Adapter for managing one instance of WBEM resource. Now if i have multiple instance of WBEM how should i proceed? Where should i ask the user for selecting the particular WBEM resource? I am not able to proceed on this...

Would be thankful if i can get some stuff on this so that i can move on.

Thanks
karthik
