How to lookup for the Beans in EJB, without using JNDI lookup?

EJB specifications define JNDI as a mechanism to lookup EJBs so I think you are stuck with JNDI

You could, of course, do something like this, and call the getCachedLocalHomeReference method instead of coding the lookup process every time.

The LocaleBeanMappingConfiguration contains mapping information between ejbNickName and the JNDI name, e.g.
